Paris Day 5

Last night Noel and I had dinner at the Eiffel Tower and it was fantastic. We are just sorry Kathy and Richard wern't there to share it. We both had the tiger prawn for entree then I had the salmon and Noel the steak for main. I had the chocolate dessert in honor of Kathy and Noel had the cheeses. The dinner was excellent and it was great to watch the sun go down from the resturant. The included bottle of red wine was good so we had a toast to Kathy for her 50th.

I managed to stick the Multing Vultures Sticker on the Eiffel Tower plarc and sent the picture to Nick.

After dinner we went to the Moulin Rouge. We had great seats near the front and the show was quite good, it was what I expected. I have to say there was not one plastic boob in the whole show. We got back to the apartment at 1.45am. The complementry champagne was the worst I have ever drank, it made spumante taste like Don Perion.

Today Noel and I headed up the road a went into a few department stores and didn't purchase anything. We then headed to the Eiffel Tower to go up to the summit. I take back what I said about it being not as big as I thought, when you are up the top its HUGE. Even with its 6 million visitors a year we only waited 30 minutes in line to visit the most famous landmark in Pairs. The views where spectacular from the top and well worth the 2 hours turn around from bottom to the top.

We then decided to do a Seine River Cruise which took an hour and was very relaxing.  We got back to the apartment about 5.30pm to do some washing and pack the bags before going out for our last dinner in France.

We have loved France and Paris was as wonderful as everyone told us it would be. The French have been great and very helpful when we have needed it. (I'll be back)
