New Milton

Had a nice sleep in today after a great nights sleep, Linda cooked us a huge English breakfast and gave us enough to feed 3 people each but it was very delicious. After breakfast we made our plans for the day. Noel is going off to the Bovington Tank Museum and I am going with Linda and Nick into the forest and down to the coast.

Linda and Nick took me to see the ponies, I was surprised how many there are and this time of year there is lots of baby foals, they are very young and cute and you can walk right up to them. We went for a lovely walk through the forest. It is very green and as it's spring there is lots of flowers out as well. I really loved the walk and would love to go horse riding through the forest if we had more time.

After our walk we went down the coast and took another walk along the cliff edge. This reminded me a lot of the Yorke Peninsular and you could see the Isle of White.

Noel made it back about 5pm after hitting a bit of traffic on the way back. He had a great time and thought the museum was much better than the French one.

Linda's daughter Joanna, her hubby and two girls came over for dinner which again was a huge feast. We opened a bottle of Prince William Royal Wedding Champagne and had a toast to Susan who told Linda she liked a glass of the bubbles.

We had a wonderful night and all too soon it was over and it was time for bed.
