London to New Milton

Woke to a nice sunny day which is nice after the last 2 days which has been overcast and cold.  Last night we went to Dirty Dancing which was really good and even Noel enjoyed it in the end, he didn't really want to see it.  We have fantastic seats in the middle of the first row of the Dress Circle. The girl who played Baby did a fantastic job she played the part perfectly and looked just like the original Baby. The guy who played Johny looked more like Kevin Bacon however he was a great dancer and sthe staging was really impressive.  If  you get the chance go and see it.

After breakfast we headed to Heathrow to pick up the car.  We upgraded so we could get a GPS and ended up with a brand new Volvo station wagon with only 12miles on the clock. We now have to buy Noel a hat for driving.

We headed towards Linda and Nicks down south in the New Forest and on the way we stopped at Windsor for lunch and a walk around the town, We didn't have time to go into the castle unfortunately as it looks like it would be great as it is huge.

The drive down to the New Forest was good and we had some stunning county side to look at on the way. Finally we hit the forest and it is a stunning area. We could see the ponies on the way and driving into New Milton through the forest was great.

Edith the GPS found Linda and Nicks no problems and we arrived about 4.30pm. We had drinks and nibble outside in the wonderful sunshine and got to know each other. They are a great couple and we all are getting along really well. The two dogs seen to like us as well, her daughters dog Chloe who they are looking after at the moment has become my new best friend.

Linda cooked us a sensational meal for dinner and served up enough food to feed 3 people on the plate. The pants are already feeling tight they might not do up after I leave here. It was a great night and I am looking forward to meeting more of the family friday night.
